Electrical Engineering Contractors

tool. is looking to set up a potentially ongoing relationship with electrical engineering contractors.  We have projects in the near term that are entering the engineering phase and will need EE design and support soon, but also anticipate other projects to come in periodically.  The projects vary in size and scope but are typically consumer products that have mechanical as well as electronic functions.  We are looking for people or firms who could be called on to work on a project-by-project basis.

Electrical Engineers should be comfortable designing electrical systems that include PCBs, firmware, electrical hardware and connectors.  They will work in tandem with Mechanical Engineers (via phone, email, Skype) to discuss required features, spec out and/or source componentry and determine board sizes.  They will test prototypes as well as production-level electronics to validate the designs.

Applicants should have relevant experience and be able to work independently but communicate professionally with engineers and clients.  Being located in Massachusetts is useful but not required; we are comfortable working with people all over the country.
