Is “radial” the new “bracket”?

If you buy into March Madness on any level, you may have filled out one of the ubiquitous “brackets” in the past. While it’s all about the games for some, could it be all about the brackets for others? From a visual perspective, I don’t believe I have seen any significant updates to the “bracketology” situation…until now. Kudos to Hyperakt and fastcodesign.com for inspiring Christopher Keach to create a radial format version of the 2012 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. I find it quite engaging and fun. How about you? While I will continue to dig March Madness for the hoops, new fans could be brought in with a visual update to the outdated bracket.

If you liked the 2012 NCAA bracket we created, you’ll love this. We’ve created brackets for every single year of the tournament from 1939 – 2012!
