Boston Scientific
tool. worked with Boston Scientific’s endosurgery group to develop new urinary incontinence solutions. The endoscopy group is a global leader in the field of endoscopic (pertaining to the digestive tract), pulmonary, and other medical devices. These devices address the needs of gastroenterologists, colorectal surgeons, cardiothoracic surgeons, pulmonologists, interventional radiologists, and surgical oncologists.
For these projects, Boston Scientific required an improved handle on a “top down” sling insertion device used in the placement of mesh screen slings that treat female incontinence. tool. also assisted Boston Scientific on methods used in the removal of a liquid from vials in the surgical treatment of GERD. The new device required seamless interfacing with existing Boston Scientific Endoscopic hardware.
